Henry has a nervous conversation with Oakdale's newest man in blue, and assures Maddie they can safely use the money BJ left in the briefcase.

Henry walks into the police station and goes over to Jack's old desk, now belonging to Mike's cousin Nick.  "Hi, can I help you?" asks Nick.  "I hope so. Henry Coleman. You remember me?" asks Henry, shaking Nick's hand.  "Should I know you?" asks Nick.  "Yeah, I was held prisoner in B.J. Green's wine cellar before he disappeared. And then I escaped just in time to catch your heroics at WOAK," Henry reminds him.  "Oh, yeah, that's right. Sorry, I didn't recognize you without your heels. That was a beautiful dress you were wearing," smiles Nick.  "Oh, I know it was, thank you very much. I would've preferred a different color, but when you're disguised and running for your life, you really can't be choosy, can you?" says Henry.  "Yeah, I guess. Can I help you, Mr. Coleman?" asks Nick politely.  "Well, yeah, I don't suppose you've found B.J. yet, have you?" asks Henry.  "No, not yet. But it is just a matter of time," says Nick confidently.  "Really. 'Cause he could be anywhere. I don't think -- I don't think he would come back to Oakdale. Do you?" asks Henry.  "Well, you really never can tell with guys like that. But if he's got a good enough reason, he might," says Nick vaguely.  "And what would a good enough reason be?" asks Henry.  "Don't worry, Mr. Coleman. We're not going to let anything happen to you. We've got your back. Yours and Katie Peretti's," Nick assures him.  "I'm glad to hear that. And I wouldn't expect anything less from Oakdale's finest. That's just not exactly what I mean," says Henry.  "Why don't you stop dancing around and tell me exactly what you do mean?" asks Nick.

"You know, it's not my safety that I'm worried about. I can handle B.J.," says Henry, sitting on Nick's desk.  "Really?" asks Nick dubiously.  "Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah, I let myself be held prisoner by him for so long because I was trying to protect my little sister, Maddie. She crossed him on a couple of occasions and I'm just -- I'm worried that he might still have it in for her," explains Henry.  "Listen, Henry. If B.J. Green plans on going back into Oakdale, which I doubt he will, we're going to stop him before he can cause anymore harm," says Nick.  "Okay. Well, you make that sound very easy. But I gotta tell you -- I gotta warn you, he's as wily as they come," says Henry.  "Yeah, well, I don't doubt it. All right? I'm here now. This is not going to happen this time around," insists Nick.  "Okay. Supercop," jokes Henry.  "Nothing super about it. I'm just good at what I do," says Nick.  "Well, I'm sure you are, but so is B.J. And I hope we don't have to find out who is better," replies Henry.  "He took a large sum of money out of the bank before he left," says Nick.  "Really. How much?" asks Henry, playing dumb.  "Well, enough to get halfway across world. I mean, that's what I think," says Nick.  "You think he's heading -- well, that seems -- that makes sense, doesn't it? But just suppose -- just for sake of argument, okay? Just suppose that he was brazen enough to come back and spend some of that money in the good old U.S. of A.? How would you know that? Would you, like, track the serial numbers or...." asks Henry.  "How many times do I have to explain this to you? It's not an issue," says Nick impatiently.  "But that's not an answer," Henry points out.  "And if he spent a dime, we would know about it," says Nick.  "Psychic powers?" asks Henry.  "When it comes to catching bad guys, I guess I do have a sixth sense," agrees Nick.  "Oh, and modest to boot," says Henry sarcastically.  "And is there anything else I can help you with, Mr. Coleman?" asks Nick.  "It's Henry. And no. No, no. You know, you have given me a world of reassurances on so many things. A million things, as a matter of fact. Thanks," says Henry.

Maddie rushes into the Lakeview Lounge and joins Henry on the couch.  "Hey, I'm so sorry I'm late," she says.  "It's not a problem. I just got here myself. You all right? You look like you're flustered," asks Henry.  "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm fine, I'm fine. Just the sooner I get out of the Hughes' house, the happier I will be," sighs Maddie.  "What do you mean, sooner? I thought you -- I thought everything was okay over there," says Henry.  "Okay is a slippery slope," says Maddie.  "Ah, you don't have to tell me. You gotta watch your footing. I'm sorry, babe. This is my fault that you're over there in the first place," says Henry.  "No, Mr. And Mrs. Hughes are fine. They're great. It's just Casey. He's -- ugh!" says Maddie.  "Ugh, ugh, teenage boys," agrees Henry, "No explanation needed. I totally understand. Listen, I got some good news, though. It looks like we can safely start looking for a place of our own."  "So, the money, they won't be able to trace it?" asks Maddie.  "No. I went by the police station and I got the lowdown from sergeant Joe Friday," says Henry.  "Who?" asks Maddie.  "Nick Kasnoff," replies Henry.  "You just said Joe Friday," says Maddie, confused.  "It's an old cop show, honey. It's before your time. It's before my time, actually. Anyway, anyway, what he said was he didn't think there was a chance in the world that B.J. would show his face in Oakdale again," says Henry.  "Not even to retrieve $1 million?" asks Maddie.  "That's chump change for him, sweetheart. He's probably got accounts in banks all over the world. He probably owns his own bank. He will not miss the money, all right? Trust me on this," says Henry.  "And the money's safe to spend?" asks Maddie.  "Reasonably safe, yeah," says Henry.  "Henry!" cries Maddie.  "Listen, we need a place to live. We will be modest. We will not go overboard. We will not call attention to ourselves. All right? And if we play our cards right, no one will be the wiser," says Henry.  "Hmm-mm, no. We can't. Forget it," says Maddie.

"You were the one that is so miserable over at Tom and Margo's, right? Now, if you want to get a place for us, we have to spend that money!" says Henry.  "It's going to take a while to find a place, right?" asks Maddie.  "Yeah, probably," replies Henry.  "All right, I guess I'll have to just deal with Casey," sighs Maddie.  "What was so bad that happened over there, anyway? Did he try to take advantage of you?" asks Henry, concerned.  "No! No! He's just really full of himself and I just -- I get so annoyed. You know?" says Maddie.  "You want me to talk to Margo?" asks Henry.  "Huh-uh. Absolutely not! Are you kidding?" says Maddie, horrified.  "All right, okay. It's just a suggestion. Hey, you know what?" says Henry, "I'm going to figure out a way to put a down payment on something without getting us into trouble. And then I'm going to find us an incredible place that you are just going to adore."  "All right, well, until you do, hands off the money. Okay, promise me," says Maddie.  "Yes, mommy," promises Henry.  "All right, I have to go, but I will call you later," says Maddie.  Alone, Henry makes plans to break his promise.  He makes a phone call and says, "Hey, yeah, it's Coleman. How much to get into tonight's game? Great. I'm in. Yeah, I heard you. 50,000. That's not a problem."

Today’s episode was directed by Michael Eilbaum and written by Josh Griffith.
