Monday, April 4, 2005 On today's episode, Henry and Katie are actually at work!! Katie is going through the paperwork at the gym and says, "We need a lot of money." Henry comes up behind her and says, "How much?" while kissing her neck. "More than this gym can produce between the time -- now and when these bills are due," says Katie. "So, we'll teach classes. You'll teach aerobics. I'll teach -- I'll look good. I'll be a perfect physical representation of your splendid cardiovascular techniques. You want to aerobicize?" teases Henry. Katie informs him that that they're in trouble, and Henry asks her how much. "Can your car sleep two adults and a rabbit?" asks Katie. "Yeah, if Snickers loses a couple of pounds. You are serious," notices Henry. "Well, we're not going to lose the cottage, hopefully, but we do need to increase membership by at least 50%," announces Katie, "Or we lose this place and every cent we've put into it." "Okay. What do you want me to do?" asks Henry dutifully. "What you always do. Fix it, or we're done," begs Katie. "This is our place. We found it together. We remodeled it together. We got married here," says Katie fondly. "Yeah. It is kind of special, isn't it? You know, every time I see someone pumping iron in that place where we said our vows, it just -- god, it gets to me, right in the bicep. It does," laughs Henry. "But if the roof keeps leaking and the pipes keep bursting, we are not gonna get anyone in here to see how special it is. We need cash flow," says Katie. "Okay, all right, all right, all right, all right. I'll do it. I'll get a job," sighs Henry. Katie looks surprised and delighted, and gives him a big hug. Henry is looking through the want ads and Katie asks, "Are you sure about this? You haven't worked in years." "Handicapping ponies? Counting cards? Flying off to Vegas? Katie, those -- that's work," protests Henry. Katie apologizes, "I didn't mean to diminish your vocation." "That's all right. That's all right. That's all right. That's all right. That's all right. If we need money to keep the gym afloat, I'm gonna find us some money. And, here we go. Limousine driver," reads Henry. "That's perfect. You're an excellent driver," admires Katie. "What did I tell you?" smiles Henry. Mike barges in and asks them if they're open. Katie says they are, and asks him if he's OK. Mike is furiously hitting the punching bag. "Anyone I know?" asks Katie. "Your brother," answers Mike. "What did Craig do this time?" asks Craig. "He stole Jennifer's designs, started his own company with them," reports Mike. "He's trying to get back at her for dumping him after she slept with him." "You think this is personal? Hey, it's not. Craig is all about the money. This has nothing to do with Jennifer," says Katie. Today’s episode was directed by Michael Eilbaum and written by Susan Dansby.
