Tuesday, April 15, 2003 Our Henry doesn't have much to say today, but he does have a lot to do. Most of which involves galoshes, a yellow rain slicker, and a water gun! Henry approaches the door of the cabin where Barbara is being held against her will. Barbara starts screaming and banging on the door with the fire poker which sends Henry running for the bushes where Emily is hiding. "If you're out there, you better start running! Because when I get out of here, I'm coming after you! And I've got a weapon," screams an angry Barbara. "Do you hear what's going on in there? Do you hear this? She's been doing this all morning long. Pretty soon she's gonna bust out," says Emily worriedly. "Get out your camera. I think you've got the next cover story for The Intruder. Barbara Ryan busting out of a doggy door," jokes Henry. Barbara screams again and Henry tries to duck out, saying, "Okay, all right. I think I left my oven on." Emily grabs him and pulls him back, threatening him like everyone else in Oakdale does. "You run away, I swear to God I'll have Hal haul you in for everything from spitting in the street to murder. Now listen up -- stop being such a chicken. You reinforce that door, you double check the windows, and you bring that woman her dinner. I am out of here." Emily leaves, wishing Henry good luck. "You can't," begs Henry. "If only I'd listened to my mother. I could be behind a big desk selling life insurance in Peoria right now," laments Henry. While Henry is trying to figure out how to contain Barbara, Emily calls Rose and informs her of the new development. "And the worst part is," she says, "The only thing standing between us and total disaster is Henry Coleman!" The next time we see Henry the theme from "Mission Impossible" is playing as Henry gears up. He puts on galoshes, a yellow raincoat, goggles, and blue gloves. Then he picks up his weapon - a water gun. Barbara is inside waving around Emily's watch which she pulled off her wrist earlier. "Oh, I'm gonna get out of here, and when I do, I'm gonna find out whose wrist you call home'" she threatens. Barbara's head pops out of the doggy door and she asks, "Where are you? I heard you out here!" As a song with the lyrics "He has a powerful weapon" plays, Henry squirts Barbara with the water gun and she screams. This continues for another scene, then Barbara backs out and sticks the poker out of the doggy door. Henry grabs it and pulls with all his might. "Hey! Hey, that's mine! Let go!" screams Barbara. After a short struggle, Henry wins. "Whoever said women were the weaker sex?" mutters Henry. As Barbara screams in protest Henry throws a bag of food inside and disguising his voice says, "Here, eat this for your strength. You're gonna need it." Using an electric screwdriver, he screws a wooden plank onto the door over the hole that used to be a doggy door. Henry runs away as Barbara screams, "Craig! I am gonna get you, Craig! And I'm gonna pull out every hair of your head! Help! Somebody help!" Today’s episode was directed by Ellen Wheeler and written by Meg Kelly.
