The last we saw of Henry he had run off with Katie, in fear for her life.  Today we see Simon call Craig, looking for Katie.  He doesn't seem worried and asks Simon if he's checked a certain deserted island in the Atlantic.  Meanwhile, Katie and Henry are again lurking outside the cottage, watching Simon.  As soon as he leaves they enter the cottage, saying, "I thought he'd never leave!"  They had been staying at a bad hotel in Peoria, and returned to look for evidence of Simon's involvement or non-involvement in the recent disappearances of the various women in his life.  Henry is wishing they were back at the Lakeview.

Katie is hoping they won't find anything, when Henry suddenly discovers something.  He holds up a framed picture of Katie that he found in Simon's toolbox.  It was right next to a hacksaw, which Henry claims is sick and twisted!  Katie tells him he needs to see a doctor, he was on that island too long.  "And whose fault is that?" accuses Henry.  He tells Katie that Simon is crazy, and Katie says yes he is, "crazy about me."  Simon walks in and agrees with her, but says he's beginning to ask himself why.

Katie asks Simon why he's here, and he responds that he lives here, and has slept here the past few nights unlike her.  He was worried sick about her until he heard her voice outside the cottage.  That's why he pretended to leave and came back to catch them looking for evidence against him.  Henry protests that it was all Katie's idea, she believes she's married to an ax murderer!  Katie blames it all on Henry, saying he practically kidnapped her and turned her against Simon.  She claims he's still suffering from island madness.  Henry says maybe he is crazy, he spent five days alone in a canoe on the Atlantic.  Simon asks to talk to his wife alone, and Katie tells Henry to wait for her by the car.  Henry acts like he'd rather just leave, but Katie threatens him with the hacksaw if he does.  As he leaves the cottage he tells Simon to remember that he doesn't think he's a serial killer!

After Henry leaves them alone, Simon and Katie discuss their situation.  Simon tries to reassure Katie that his only concern is for her safety.  Jill warned her that her life is in danger, and she should start acting like she believes it.  Simon asks her if she thinks he's a murderer, but she can't answer the question.  She says she still loves him, but as Simon points out, she doesn't trust him.  She asks what they should do next, and Simon tells her the most important thing is she needs to take care of herself.  And that means staying away from Henry, Dahlia, and Simon.

Meanwhile, Henry is still waiting by the car!  Or so we assume....

Today’s episode was directed by Maria Wagner and written by Lynn Martin.

Transcripts from ATWTweekly

[ The Cottage ]
>> Simon: [ on the phone ] Look, are you sure you haven't seen Katie the last couple of days?
>> Craig: I have neither seen nor heard from her I. What's wrong? Did you lose her?
>> Simon: Do you have any idea where she might be?
>> Craig: Try the Oakdale police department. She's a frequent guest.
>> Simon: No, she hasn't been arrested. I already checked that. I've checked the hospital, the morgues.
>> Craig: Well, have you tried that little God-forsaken island in the middle of the Atlantic?
>> Simon: She's disappeared, Craig.
>> Craig: Leave her alone, and she will come home with her shopping bags and boxes behind her.
>> Simon: And you're not worried about her at all?
>> Craig: Katie always worries me. I'll see you later, Simon.
[Henry and Katie watch from outside the window until they see Simon leave the cottage and then go inside ]
>> Henry: Thought he'd never leave.
>> Katie: Oh. I can't keep living like this, Henry.
>> Henry: Well, you can die trying, Katie. Actually, you know, after our time spent in that fleabag hotel in Peoria, this little hovel seems like the Four Seasons.
>> Katie: Well, I had to go someplace where Simon would never think of seeing me, okay? Of course, I wouldn't have had to go there in the first place if you hadn't brainwashed me into thinking that Simon was actually trying to kill me.
>> Henry: Oh, what happened to that oh-so-serene yet secure little hideout in a certain penthouse suite at The Lakeview? Whatever happened to that four-star room service and magnificent martinis, and the adorable way that they folded the tissue into those cunning little points? "Let us go there, you and I." Why do we have to come back here to the scene of the crime?!
>> Katie: Because I have to find something that connects Simon to either Dahlia's disappearance or -- Jill's murder. I have to know, once and for all, if the man of my dreams is a murderer.

[ The Cottage ]
>> Katie: We're not gonna find anything. Because there's nothing to find. Simon is innocent.
>> Henry: No? That's what they said about Travis McDonald.
>> Katie: Who?
>> Henry: Oh, he was a gigolo, murderer, husband, widower. About four times over. That was until they found out -- ha, ha, ha! Bingo!
>> Katie: What, you found something?
>> Henry: It's worse than I thought.
>> Katie: What is it? A picture of me from Simon's toolbox. What does that prove?
>> Henry: I found the picture next to a hacksaw, Katie. Picture here, hacksaw here. Oh, come on! Wake up! This is the sickest thing I've ever seen --
>> Katie: Would you stop the drama, Henry? All right? God, you have to see a doctor.
>> Henry: You know, I was thinking the same thing about you. Denial may not be a river in Egypt, but it can be a fatal disease.
>> Katie: You were on that island way too long.
>> Henry: And whose fault was that?
>> Katie: Just stop changing the subject, all right? Simon keeps the picture of me in the toolbox because he loves having me around.
>> Henry: Katie, he's crazy!
>> Katie: He's crazy about me.
>> Simon: Yeah. And right now, he's wondering why.
>> Katie: Simon, we you doing here?
>> Simon: I live here. Spent the last couple of nights here. Which is more than I can say for you.
>> Henry: We saw you -- we saw you get in your car. We saw you speed off.
>> Simon: That was the plan, genius. What, I wasn't supposed to hear the two of you lurking around outside? Try being a little less obvious next time. So what's goin' on?
>> Henry: This was Katie's idea.
>> Katie: Henry!
>> Henry: Yeah, and it's -- it's a funny story, when you think about it. Little wifey here has it in her mind that she's married to an axe murderer!
>> Katie: He's lying.
>> Henry: Oh.
>> Katie: He practically kidnapped me, tried to talk against you, all because he can't stand other people being happy.
>> Henry: Now, that is beside the point.
>> Katie: The point is he has island madness. And I should have figure it out before. He's crazy!
>> Henry: Yeah, Katie maybe I am a little crazy after spending five days on the Atlantic out on a hollowed-out canoe. I'm crazy to get mixed up in anything.
>> Simon: I would like a few words with my wife, please, if you don't mind.
>> Henry: No. No, I don't mind that. I don't mind that at all.
>> Katie: Henry, just meet me out by the car.
>> Henry: I would love to, but you wouldn't believe my schedule --
>> Katie: You wouldn't believe what I can do with that hacksaw if you don't.
>> Henry: Well, tell you what -- I don't believe that Simon is a serial killer. Remember that.
>> Simon: So it's probably a good time to tell me now why you ran off. And why I found you and Henry in here and what you were looking for?
>> Katie: I was trying to find anything that would prove you had nothing to do with Jill or Dahlia's murders.
>> Simon: It's pretty hard to prove a negative, isn't it? You sure you weren't looking for something that proves it?
