Henry is still in search of a partner for the "Six Keys to the Kingdom" contest.  He doesn't find one, but he does end up with a new friend.

Mike is working outside his cottage, shirtless, daydreaming about Katie.  Henry interrupts him.  "So, what? I'm sorry, man. What'd you say?" asks Mike, startled.  "Hey, I said, how you doing? You looked like you were kind of out of it there," says Henry.  "Yeah, I guess I was. Um, it's good to see you, man," says Mike.  "You're happy to see me?" asks Henry, surprised.  "Sure. What do you need?" he asks.  Henry says he needs a favor and Mike tells him to name it.  "Just like that?" asks Henry.  "Well, usually when you show up..." says Mike.  "Oh. Oh, right. I got it. I'm usually here because Katie sent me," finishes Henry.  "She didn't, huh?" realizes Mike, disappointed.  Henry asks if he'll still do him a favor, and Mike says it depends.  "There's conditions now? Okay, that's fine. Conditions are fine. So, have you heard about this 'Six Keys to the Kingdom' game?" asks Henry.  Mike says he has and offers Henry a beer.  "Beer - sure. Yeah. Love beer. Love it," says Henry unenthusiastically.  "Anyway, this game, the grand prize is $300,000. Pretty impressive, huh? Well, I'm impressed."  Mike seems to choke on his beer and Henry tells him, "Be careful there. Anyway, the only deal with the game is that you have to have a partner to play."  "I'm not going to partner with you," says Mike shortly.  "Why does everyone keep saying that?" says Henry sadly.  "Probably because nobody trusts you," suggests Mike.  "Yeah, yeah, that could be it. But, Mike, I'm not going to play dirty. I mean, not with someone like you. I mean, look at you all, you know, rippling muscles there. You could beat the - [ Henry whistles ] - out of me," says Henry.  Mike says he's not doing it.  "You're discouraged by our late start. Don't be. I'm sure that we can come from behind and sweep to a very lucrative victory. No?" says Henry.  "Uh-huh," Mike dismisses him and asks how Katie is doing.  "Happy as a lark. Or, I guess, as a lovebird, I should say," says Henry.  "So glad I asked. Look, man, I got stuff to do, so..." hints Mike.  "Um - speaking of Katie, do you want me to give her a message, tell her anything?" offers Henry.  "Besides telling the thing about me wishing her husband had never come back to town?" asks Mike.  "Some things are better left unsaid," agrees Henry.  Mike says he has one thing to tell her that will make her happy - Pilar is gone.  Little does he know she's trying to blackmail Simon into helping her stay with Mike.

Henry and Mike are sitting outside, drinking their beer.  Well, Mike is.  "You know, this stuff would taste a lot better if it was gin. So how did you get rid of poisonous Pilar?" asks Henry.  "I confronted her about stealing Katie's jewelry and told her to get out," says Mike.  "Right on, brother. That woman was trouble with a capital T. Of course, she was attractive with a capital A. And she was beautiful with a capital B," gushes Henry.  "Henry," warns Mike.  "Right, right. You're right. You know, that's much better. She was no good. She was no doggone good. And Katie is a lot better with her far, far away," says Henry.

Mike looks down at the empty beer cans on the ground and asks Henry if he's OK to drive home.  Henry hands Mike his almost full can and Mike asks if he drank any of it.  "One sip was enough," says Henry.  "So you've basically just been hanging here," says Mike.  "Yeah. I'm a pal, Mike. What can I say? And I think I'd be a perfect partner for that game," says Henry.  Mike tells him good-bye.  "You know, I understand why Katie is so torn. I like Simon. I think the world of him, but..." says Henry.  "But she's still married to Simon. And she made it very clear that she loves him. End of story. I'll be okay," Mike assures him.  Henry smiles and leaves.
