On today's show, Henry is there for his buddy Mike as he mourns Katie's leaving.

Katie has found out that Simon hired Pilar to keep her and Mike apart, and she told him it was over.  She goes to the Lakeview where Mike is drowning his sorrows in beer.  She plans to tell him the truth about Pilar and that she still loves him, but Mike stops her.  He's lost all hope for them, and believes that even though they love each other, they could never make it work.  Katie says goodbye for the last time, and Mike calls Henry to give him a ride home.

"Not to worry, Uncle Henry is here," says Henry, sitting down next to Mike at the bar.  "Thanks for coming," says Mike.  "Don't speak. Don't speak. In your condition, it'll only draw attention," advises Henry.  "I'm okay. I, I, I just called you here to be safe," says Mike.  Henry asks how many beers he's had and Mike says he doesn't know.  "Right, that's what I feared. Okay, lean on me and try not to heave until we clear the lobby, all right?" says Henry.  Mike assures Henry he's OK, he's not drunk.  "Is there another reason that you call me down here to drive you home? There is, isn't there?" asks Henry.  "I saw Katie," says Mike.  "In person? Or floating above the bar?" teases Henry.  "For real. She, she was here," says Mike.  Henry tells him that she and Simon left an hour ago.  Mike suggests maybe their flight was delayed.  "I called the airline. The plane left on time," says Henry.

"Well, I just talked to an actual person at the airline, and she confirmed that Katie and Simon's flight left on time," says Henry, hanging up his phone.  "There are, however, later flights that they could take that would still allow them to make their connection to Australia," he adds.  "She must have gotten on one of those," says Mike.  "You never told me why Katie wanted to see you one last time," says Henry.  "She just wanted to thank me for tracking her down tonight. You know, then it turned into the same old story, about how I'm a good guy and she wishes me the best in life," says Mike.  "All I wanted out of life was Katie," he says sadly.

Meanwhile, Katie tells Margo to tell everyone she went to Australia with Simon.  She needs to get away by herself and think.  She packs her bags and heads to the airport, destination unknown.

Today’s episode was directed by Jennifer Pepperman and written by Craig Heller.
