Transcripts from TVMegasite Maddie: No, leave me alone! Eve: Honey, hey, hey hey. It's just us. It's just me and Henry. Henry: It's okay, sweetheart. You're safe now. Maddie: I guess I was dreaming. Eve: Of course. We're sorry, honey. We're sorry we startled you. Maddie: Where were you? Was I alone? Henry: He couldn't get to you, baby. I made sure of that. You're safe now. Maddie: Where were you? Eve: I was at the police station. Maddie: They found Louis? Eve: Not yet. But I was doing everything I could to help them. Maddie: They're not gonna find him. He's too smart. Henry: Maddie, if they can't find him, that means he's 100 miles away from here. He knows what would happen to him if he even came near you. Eve: Yes, Henry is right. It's okay. It's over, babe. [ Maddie remembering ] Louis: This isn't over. Maddie: No, you don't understand! He is never gonna let it be over!
Henry: You need to start thinking about this as a part of your past. Maddie: Yeah, I wish I could. But it's kind of hard when I'm a suspect for murder. Henry: Honey, you are not. Maddie: Henry, the TV and the papers, they don't say anything. They don't say it was Louis. Eve: Honey, the police just have to be really careful. They have to catch Louis before they can completely close the case. Maddie: But it's never gonna happen because they're never gonna catch him. 'Cause he's smart, and he's too smart, and he can do anything -- Henry: Stop. You need to stop thinking like that. Eve: Yes, Henry is right. They will catch him, and this will end. It just might take a while. Which is why I've decided to go back to Chicago. And I want you to come with me. Maddie: Back there? To that place? Eve: No, not to our house. To Bernadette's. Maddie: Why? Eve: We'd be safe there. And so much has happened here. Maddie: I don't even know if they're gonna let me go. I mean, I'm a suspect for murder. Eve: She's your sister, of course they'll let you go -- Henry: It's a formality that they haven't closed the case. They know you're innocent. Maddie: Do they? You think Margo told Casey that it wasn't me? Henry: I don't -- I don't know. Maddie: I messed everything up with him. I mean, I was so mixed up when he tried to help me -- and I wouldn't even talk to him. And now, what am I -- I'm leaving? What is he gonna think? He's gonna -- I don't know what he's gonna think. Henry: Well, we should go talk to him before we leave. Eve: Henry -- Henry: They were close for a long time. She has a right to tell him what happened. And that everyone else was wrong. Eve: Do you think that's a good idea? Maddie: I don't even know if he'll see me. Henry: Of course he'll see you, he's crazy about you. And once we clear up all these suspicions, you can put the worst of this behind you. Eve: She can't go alone. Henry: Eve, Eve, Eve, Eve. She needs to get back to being normal. And talking to her boyfriend with her brother in the background is not exactly normal. Go to the cops, tell them that you guys are leaving. She'll talk to Casey, and I'll make sure she's back here in time to leave for Bernadette's. [ Eve sighs ]
Henry: Maddie? Maddie! Hey, there you are. Maddie: Henry, you didn't have to follow me. Henry: No, no, I'm making sure you were safe. I saw Casey -- sunshine band -- all those guys. They left. Did you a chance talk to him? Maddie: No, there were too many people. I didn't think it was the right time. Henry: Okay. Well, you tried. You know what? You can call him from Bernadette's. Maddie: Yeah. Right. Henry: Right. Right, okay. Well, we should -- yeah, we should get going. Because Eve wants to make sure we're back in plenty of time. Maddie: Oh, actually, she called me and she wants me to stay here and wait for her to pick me up. Henry: So she cleared that with the cops? Maddie: Mm-hmm, yeah. I guess so. So, she's gonna be here any minute, so you can just -- Henry: I'm not going anywhere. Maddie: Henry, I know you care about me and you want to protect me, but I just saw Gwen and Casey and -- and I kind of want to be alone. Henry: Yeah, okay. Well, I'm not leaving. Maddie: Henry, just go wait in the car. I'll be fine. I'll just wait here until Eve gets here, okay? Henry: Okay. I'll be right around the corner. Maddie: Okay. Henry: Okay. You take care of yourself. And call me when you and Eve get to Chicago. Hmm? Maddie: Okay. Henry: I'm right around the corner. Maddie: Okay. I'm fine. Eve, it's me -- Eve: Is everything okay? Maddie: Yeah, it's great, really. I just decided not to go with you to Bernadette's with you. Eve: But we decided that that's what would be best. Maddie: Yeah, I know, but I talked to Henry and he wants me to stay with him and I said that I would. Eve: But, do you really think that's what you need right now? Maddie: I really just don't feel like going away. And you know Bernadette and I don't get along. Eve: Honey, she's your sister. I know she can be controlling sometimes, but she loves you. Maddie: I'm used to the way things are here. And I don't want any changes. Can you understand? Eve: Okay, well, if you have any second thoughts, call me. Maddie: I will call you, I promise. Hi, I am calling for information on busses going to raven lake.
