Katie is recovering at the cottage, but can't rest because she's curious about who Simon is getting to help him with the surveillance of Marshall Travers' room.  She guesses that it's Jack, because "who else is there?"  Just then there's a knock at the door - it's Henry!  "Simon Frasier, you're my hero!  Seriously, man, whatever the job, I'm your man."  "Oh no, not Henry!" exclaims Katie.  She tells Simon that he can't work with Henry because bad things will happen.  "Why don't you just talk about me like I'm not even here," pouts Henry.  Katie explains that this job is dangerous, Simon will need some one brave, and Henry is chicken.  "Dangerous?  What kind of job is this?" asks Henry.  "It's just a casual bugging of a lawyer's hotel room," answers Simon.  "What do you think?"  "Dirty tricks, all right!" says Henry, rubbing his hands together.  He explains that he'll need equipment, and it's not cheap.  Simon asks him how much he needs, and Henry says 300 dollars.  "Do you take cash?" asks Simon as he counts out the money and hands it to Henry.  "Absolutely, it's my favorite kind," says Henry.

Katie is not happy about the situation, so she asks Simon to go get her pills in the kitchen.  After Simon leaves, she grabs Henry and he howls, "Careful of the chest hair, it's paste on."  Katie tells Henry to take the money and go, because everything he touches is doomed.  So he helped a little in Avanya, that was just a fluke and she doesn't want his bad luck near her husband.  (She seems to forget the countless times Henry has helped her out of jams!)  She threatens him to stay away.  "Or what, half-liver?  You're going to throw a hissy fit?" says Henry.  Worse, she'll sic Lucinda on him!

Henry pretends to be tempted by the 300 dollars, "I can get all the way to Milltown with that kind of cash!"  Katie tells him to knock it off, Simon will be back soon and she wants him gone.  Henry refuses.  Simon saved him from Lucinda, and besides, "He's my friend."  "Your what?" asks Katie in disbelief.  "He's the first friend I've ever had, OK?" admits Henry.  Katie asks Henry if this is for real, if he really wants to help Simon just to help him, not for personal gain.  Henry explains that even if it wasn't, he wouldn't want to do anything to get Simon and Lucinda on his tail.  Simon comes back into the room; he couldn't find Katie's pills.  She realizes she had them in her pocket all along.

Simon asks Henry to meet him at the Lakeview tomorrow.  Henry agrees, and says, "If you get there first, I'll have a martini, very dry."  Simon reminds him that this is business, no cocktails.  "Not even an olive to suck on?" jokes Henry.  "See ya, Mrs. F," he says to Katie.  He again thanks Simon for rescuing him from "Lucinda's happy house of indentured servitude."  "You are Androcles and I am the lion," says Henry dramatically as he leaves.  Simon is confused, and Katie explains that Henry means he is a friend for life.  "And that's scary, very scary!"
