Henry: Emily. Emily, what's wrong?

Emily: Oh, Henry! Hal! Oh, my Hal!

Henry: What? What?

Paul: Hal passed away.

Meg: I called jack. Hal's family and friends are meeting at Yo's.

Paul: I don't think we should go.

Emily: It's okay. It's okay.

Henry: I'll stay with her.

Meg: What do you think?

Paul: Yeah, let's go.

Emily: Just don't be a coward, okay? Before life got crazy, he loved you, too. So just go.

Meg: Barbara is gonna need you there.

Paul: Let's go.

Henry: Sit down. Come here. Sit down. Sit down, I'm gonna get you something, all right?

Hal: It's okay. I'll wait. But you knew that, didn't you? No matter what I said, I've always been waiting. I won't leave you, honey.

Henry: If you can forget how much you hate me, I'll drive you to Yo's.

Emily: No, thanks. I'm just gonna drive myself home.

Henry: No, no, no, no. No, you're not. You're going to Yo's, and you're going to say good-bye to a guy you loved.

Emily: Oh, my god, I can't. I can't. Not after what I did to him, Henry. I can't.

Henry: After what you did? Do you think any of that matters now? You loved him, and he's gone. So you're going to Yo's. You're going to Yo's. I'm going to go with you. And you can start hating me again tomorrow.

Will: Hey.

Emily: Hi.

Will: I'm really glad you came.

Emily: Really?

Will: Yeah. I'm never gonna forget how you and dad put our family back together. For a while there, me and Daniel and Parker in that house, it was very good.

Emily: That was your dad, honey. I never quite learned how to hold onto a good thing.

Henry: Come on, I'll get you a drink.

Emily: When we were married, after work, summer nights, we'd go out on the patio with a cold beer, watch Daniel and Parker out on the swing set. Just the two of us holding hands. We'd sit out there for hours. It was so simple and peaceful.

Hal: Emily Stewart --    how do I say this? Well, I guess on one knee, don't I? Emily Stewart, will you be my wife? Oh, I'm getting dirt on you, sorry.

Henry: Hey! Where'd you go?

Emily: To a happier time.

Henry: I'm gonna get us some beer, huh?
