Brad is still haunting Henry, so he tells Katie that he's been seeing her dearly departed husband.  She doesn't believe him, and asks him again to stay away with her.  Henry tells Brad that he's got to find a way to get through to her himself.

Today’s episode was directed by Jennifer Pepperman and written by Susan Dansby.

Henry: Brad! God! God! Can't I even bathe in peace?

Brad: Yeah! Why do you think I'm waiting out here instead of popping in to the shower? Besides, who wants to see you naked?

Henry: Great. Ghostly visitations in the bathroom. That's truly the stuff of nightmares, Brad.

Brad: Hey, Henry, you want me to stop visiting you, then get on the stick.

Henry: And do what?

Brad: Find a way to bring me back from the dead.

Henry: Oh, God. God. Do you mind? It is rude to read over someone else's shoulder.

Brad: Do you think I give a damn about manners right now? I just want to leave this limbo land and live again. What does the book say?

Henry: What do you think it says? Dead is dead. I can organize a séance for you so you can move some furniture around, but I can't bring you back to life, Brad. So go haunt somebody else. Oh, don't. Don't do that.

Brad: I am stuck in this no-fly zone for a reason. There's got to be something unfinished and something I can do to earn my place back in the real world. Stop her. Stop her.

Henry: Katie, Katie. Wait, wait.

Katie: Give me one good reason.

Brad: Hey. Hi, Jacob. It's me. It's Daddy.

Henry: I just wanted to see the baby.

Brad: Oh, he's so little. Oh, he needs someone to protect him until he can stand on his own.

Katie: Okay, you've seen him. Now get away from him.

Brad: He needs someone to teach him how to be a man, a better man than his father ever was.

Henry: Don't say that.

Katie: I mean it, Henry. I don't want you anywhere near my son.

Brad: You need to talk to her. Get her to see me. She needs me. Jacob needs me.

Henry: Listen. Katie, Katie. Listen. I wish I could bring Brad back. I really do.

Katie: You wish? I just had to bring my baby home from the hospital for the first time and couldn't even go in to my house.

Both: Why not?

Katie: Because there's no home in my house. Homes are filled with love and laughter and hope, and the only thing that's filling my home is painful memories.

Henry: I'm sorry, Katie.

Brad: Don't feel sorry for yourself. Don't you dare.

Henry: It's not me I'm feeling sorry for. It's her! It's you. It's the baby. And I don't want you to give up hope, okay, because Brad may be gone, but his spirit is still here. It's right here.

[Baby crying]

Katie: That's nice. Why don't you put that in a greeting card, Henry. Maybe you can sell it somewhere.

Brad: If you don't get through to her, I am gonna haunt you for the rest of your life.

Henry: What else do you want me to do?

Katie: I told you, Henry! Stay away from me!

Henry: I'm not talking to you! I'm talking to Brad!

Henry: Katie. Katie, wait. Wait! Do you want to know why I've been acting so nuts?

Katie: No.

Henry: No, listen! Please, Honey! Please! When I tackled Ralph, when I tried to keep him getting away, I hit my head.

Katie: And you're telling me this why? Not to get sympathy, I hope.

Henry: No, I'm just trying to say that --

Katie: Henry: That guy Ralph, the one you owed money to, the one I went to talk to to help you, he held my husband in front of him like a human shield. He got him shot and killed. So, forgive me if I can care less about a little bump on your head.

Brad: She's got a point.

Henry: This is not about the injury, okay? What I'm trying to say is that after I clonked my head, something changed. I began to see things. I began to see stars at first, and then I started seeing Brad.

Katie: Brad?

Brad: You're making headway. Keep going.

Henry: Yes, I've been seeing him ever since, and he's right here. He's right here beside me.

Katie: Don't do this to me.

Brad: Make her understand.

Henry: Listen, Katie. Brad's love for you did not die, okay? It is as real and as alive as your baby boy here, all right, and if you would just open your eyes or close your eyes or -- maybe it doesn't matter at all. If you would just trust in this love. If you would just open your eyes and trust in this love, you will see him standing here. He's not six inches from me.

Katie: I'm looking.

Henry: Do you see him?

Katie: All I see is a sick, cruel, self-serving person who used to call himself my friend. You really think that inventing the ghost of my dead husband would make me feel better?

Henry: No, I'm not inventing him.

Katie: Stay away from me! Stay away from me, Henry, for the last time!

Brad: I just have one thing to say.

Henry: What?

Brad: Boo. You may not want a ghost, but you have one for the duration, Henry.

Brad: How hard is it to get Katie to see that I'm still here? Okay, I mean, not in body or whatever this is, but in spirit.

Henry: You're asking me questions I can't answer. No one can.

Brad: What happened to that special bond you're supposed to have with Katie? What good is it if you can't get through to her?

Henry: We used to have a bond, but then you died and she blames me, okay? She hates me now. You saw that. She's put up a wall, Brad.

Brad: Climb over it. She's lonely. You see how much she's hurting.

Henry: Yes, I see how furious she is, too.

Brad: Well, she's mad at you, man. I mean, just get through that. Who cares? Help her to see me, that I'm there, that I was there with her when she was having the baby! I helped her through that. I can help her through this.

Henry: Wait a second, wait a second, wait a second. You were there when she was having the baby? I thought that was Katie's fantasy.

Brad: You're hanging out with a ghost and you want to lecture me about what's real or not?

Henry: We've been barking up the wrong tree here. It's not up to me to make Katie see you. You have to do that yourself.
