Thursday, November 19, 2009 Katie has hired a psychic to help her communicate with Brad, but he's a fraud. Brad appears to Henry and tells him about it. When he tells Margo about it, she wonders how he knew since Katie never told him. Meanwhile, Brad is learning how to have a physical effect on things, and Henry needs a lawyer. Today’s episode was directed by Habib Azar and written by Susan Dansby.
Transcripts from TVMegasite Brad: We've got a problem. Henry: Oh, God! Yes, yes, yes, we have a problem. Do you see this restraining order? This is all because no one can see you but me. I need you to fix this. Bartender: Okay, that's your limit. Brad: Rip that up. Katie needs you. Henry: She needs me. She needs me so much that if I walk past her house on the other side of the street, then she can have me arrested. Brad: She called a psychic. At first, I thought it was a great idea because the guy would be able to hear me, you know, be able to see me and all that. But he's a phony. He's taking Katie for a ride. So, you have to come with me and stop him. Henry: Brad, she won't listen to me. If anyone's gonna save her, it has to be you. Brad: How am I supposed to do that, Henry? Henry: You're a ghost. Just creep the con man out. And, look, while you're at it, I could use some help with Ralph, okay? Can you scare him to death so I don't have to testify?
Henry: Margo, Katie does not need a restraining order. She needs every friend she can get right now. Would you please find a way to invalidate this? Margo: No. Henry: What part of paranormal phenomenology don't you understand? Margo: The dead-people part. Henry: It's not people. It's brad. Margo: Oh, Henry, just give it up. This whole crazy act's not gonna work. You're still gonna have to testify against Manzo or face charges yourself. Henry: I don't care what happens to me. I just want my best friend back. Please, would you please talk to Katie? Margo: Oh, I don't know, Henry. She's really mad at you. I don't think she's gonna let you back into her life. Henry: Really? I'm not so sure about that. I don't think she would have hired that psychic if she wasn't at least giving me the benefit of the doubt. [Telephone rings] Margo: Hughes. Henry: I'll see you in court. Margo: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What? You want to see Henry? Henry: Is that Katie? Margo: Yes, yes. Well, he's right here. I'll tell him. Henry: I knew she wanted to see me. I'm going over there right now. Margo: No, it wasn't Katie. It was the district attorney's office. Henry: Wait, wait. What are they doing? Are they arresting me? What did I do? Margo: No, no, no. They want to give you some witness instructions before you testify. So, the ADA's. Is on his way over, and they want you to wait here. Henry: Okay. Interrogation room? Margo: Uh-huh. Henry? How did you know about Katie and the psychic? Henry: I told you, Margo, I have a source on the other side.
Henry: Hey, hey! Watch the suit! Brad? Brad: You felt that, too? We made contact! We made contact! Henry: I know. Shh! I know. I've got the coffee on shoes to prove it. When did you become so solid? Brad: I guess this morning. I guess it just wasn't a fluke with Katie. Henry: What happened? Brad: Oh, that scheming psychic -- he really ticked me off, so I kicked him right out of his chair. Henry: You did? Did Katie see you? Does she believe in you now? Brad: Well, not quite. We tried again when we were alone, but it just -- that time, it didn't work. Henry: Well, then, brad, go back and try it again. Brad: Maybe it'll work if you come with me. The more believers in the room, the better. Henry: Brad, I can't do that right now. I've got to -- I've got to testify against Ralph Manzo. I mean, the D.A. Just gave me a lot of instructions and a pep talk. Brad: Are you feeling really good about that? Henry: I'm feeling like the next time you see me, I'm gonna be even deader than you are. Brad: You think Ralph is really gonna try to knock you off? Maybe I should stick around. Henry: Really, brad? Do you think you can keep me safe from a bunch of hit men? Brad: Probably not. Henry: Probably not. So, you know what? Go back over there and try ghost brad with Katie again. Try to convince her that you're real. That way, maybe you can convince her to forgive me. Brad: I'll try, I'll try. And take it from somebody who's been there. When the bullets start flying, duck. Henry: Okay.
Henry: I -- I can't afford your normal fee, but I'm a worthy cause. And it would be great having someone on my side when I take on Ralph Manzo and his crew. Yes, the Ralph Manzo. Loan shark, extortionist, kidnapper, murderer. Hello? Hello? Okay, got to man up, Henry. You're on your own. Well, did David need a lawyer when he took on goliath? No. Did rocky need one when he took on Apollo creed? Hell, no! Lawyer? I don't need no stinking lawyer. |
