Martinis with Henry
Latitude, NYC
April 22, 2006

The third annual "Martinis with Henry" event was held just after the luncheon, at the same location as last year - Latitude in New York City.  We've grown since our first event two years ago which was attended by about a dozen people, to about 40 last year, to over 60 this year!  The theme for this year's event was Mardi Gras, in honor of Trent's home state of Louisiana.  We had beads, dubloons, and masks.  The special guest this year was Alexandra Chando (Maddie), who stayed for the whole event and spent the entire time chatting with fans.

Here are some shots of the crowd and the gift bags, which included the second in the "Martinis with Henry" shot glass series (photo to come).

We also had a trivia contest, click here to test yourself!  The idea was for everyone to take a string of beads for every question answered correctly, but we weren't very strict about that!  The winner for the second year in a row (not counting last year's winner Terri Colombino) was one of Trent's biggest fans, Amanda.

Here's Kendra reading the answers.

Another one of Trent's biggest fans, Joan, wrote a song for Trent that was sung by her daughter Barbara.  Here are the lyrics (to the tune of Around the World in 80 Days):

From far and near we've come to say

That you as Henry Coleman never fail to make our day.

At home we sit and vegetate;

Or at our work, we sometimes shirk,

and then we cogitate.

But watching you in full array

We get a boost and some relief from common everyday.

So, Trent, to you we want to raise our toast--

For you're the actor we enjoy the most!

We presented Trent with a crown (King of Oakdale!) and a lovely pair of spinning globe cufflinks, as a good luck charm for the Emmy's which took place the following week.

(there were two of them :)

Yet another of Trent's biggest fans, who you may know as Princess Sparky, designed the SuperHenry t-shirts that many people were wearing.

We made it into CBS Soaps in Depth! (June 27, 2006)

Finally, here's the entire crew (or a large portion of them anyway).  A great time was had by all - let's do it again next year!
